Kinetic Craziness using the N-Press!

You have heard of the Z-Press, The Military Press, The Behind the Neck Press, The Arnold Press, The Scott Press, The Viking Press and The Bradford Press and were sure others not listed here. But have you heard of the N-Press?

The great thing about kinetic training in general is the multitude of variations you can create using the Bandbell bars and stability training. Unlike the linear iron bar with its unforgiving lack of flexion and joint punishing effects the E-Maxx bar offers incredible blood gorging pumps and challenging movements.

If your in the gym every day pushing yourself to the brink of exhaustion then your gonna love this challenge.

Complete the 10 Sets of N-Presses shown here. This workout encompasses the entire body. Sets 1-5 are ascending weight with 5-10 reps each. Sets 6-10 are max weights for 3-5 reps. Its pretty simple movement and truly one that defines your character.

Overhead press the E-Maxx bar loaded with unstable weight using resistance bands, squat down to the box height of your choice. ( we used seat height 15″ ) then proceed to complete some shaky behind the neck presses and then lockout at the top and squat off the box to finish the set.

The core, shoulders, triceps, back and legs are activated and engaged from the moment you lock out the OHP.

Lets get it done!

Nate Press !

Set 1) E-Maxx loaded with 50 pounds, OHP then squat to box, then 10 reps behind Neck press to lockout then squat off the box.

Sets 2-4) E-Maxx Loaded with 110 pounds. OHP then squat to box, then 10 reps behind Neck press to lockout then squat off the box.

Sets 5-6) E-Maxx Loaded with 160 pounds, OHP then squat to box, then 5 reps behind Neck press to lockout then squat off the box.

Sets 7-10) E-Maxx Loaded with 200 and 210 Pounds , OHP then squat to box, then 10 reps behind Neck press to lockout then squat off the box.

Once complete these sets you will feel a surge of swelling in the body, that is normal its just your muscles growing and letting you know that the gym time today was effective. Go home and bask in the glory of your swollen muscles and stuff your face with nutrients ( roast beast) and fill your belly with nectar of the gods ( beer) Haaa!

So maybe only follow my diet advice if your ok with being a tad bit plump or as I like to call it Man body. Otherwise stick to your salads and cardio.
